This Privacy Policy explains how ClearOut Crew Junk Removal ("ClearOut Crew," "we," "us"), operated by Ethan and Brennan, collects and uses information when you visit this website or request a quote. We collect only what we need to respond to your request.

Information we collect through the quote form

When you request a quote, you give us:

• Photos of the items you want removed (at least one is required).
• A description of what needs to be removed and any details you choose to include (for example stairs or access notes).
• Your name, ZIP code, and phone number (required).
• Your email address and preferred contact method (optional).
• A record that you agreed to be contacted about your quote, and the date and time you submitted.

No accounts. You do not create an account, and we never ask customers for a username or password.

No street address on the website. We do not ask for your street address when you request a quote. If you decide to move forward, we may ask for the service address directly (by phone, text, or email) to finalize your quote or schedule the job. If you give it to us, we record it in our private system with your request and use it only to provide the service.

About your photos

Photos may show parts of your home or property and anything else in the frame, so please avoid including people, documents, or other personal details you don't want to share. When your browser supports it, the form re-saves photos before upload, which removes hidden metadata such as GPS location. Photos are stored in private storage and can only be viewed by the business owners after signing in. They are never posted publicly or given public links.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider processes technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to deliver the site, keep it secure, and prevent abuse. We use a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and phone number to limit repeated or automated submissions; we do not store your raw IP address with your quote. If you arrived from an ad or link with campaign tags (UTM parameters), we record those tags, the first page you visited, and the referring website name with your request so we know which advertising works. How we use your information

• To review your request and prepare a quote.
• To contact you about your quote by phone, text, or email (submitting the form authorizes this contact).
• To check whether your ZIP code is in our service area.
• To schedule and complete any job you book with us.
• To keep the website secure and prevent spam and fraud.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your quote details for marketing unless you separately agree to it, and we do not send your name, phone number, email, ZIP code, description, or photos to advertising or analytics companies.

Service providers that process data for us

• Netlify hosts the website and runs the server code that receives quote requests.
• Supabase stores quote requests in a database and photos in private file storage, and provides secure sign-in for the owners' dashboard.
• Resend delivers email notifications about new quote requests to the business owners.
• Google provides website fonts, which are bundled and served from our own website at build time (your browser does not contact Google for fonts).

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how well our Facebook and Instagram ads work. It loads only if you allow advertising cookies in the cookie banner, and you can change that choice anytime. When it runs, Meta receives page visits and a notice that a quote was submitted — never your name, phone number, ZIP code, description, or photos. Meta processes this data under its own privacy terms and may store it in the United States. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How we store and protect information

Your request is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Quote data and photos are stored in a private database and private storage protected by access rules, so only the business owners can view them after signing in. Server keys are kept out of the website's public code. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

How long we keep information

We keep quote requests, photos, and notes for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, so we can answer follow-up questions and keep basic records of jobs, unless a longer period is required by law (for example tax records for completed jobs). Requests we decline or that are outside our service area are kept for up to 12 months. Photos from uploads that were started but never submitted are deleted automatically, usually within a few hours.

Your choices and deletion requests

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted. Because there are no customer accounts, just contact us by phone at (218) 446-0294 or by email at clearoutcrew13@gmail.com with the name and phone number you used (and your reference number if you have it). We will confirm the request comes from you before making changes. We may keep limited information when needed to comply with the law or resolve disputes.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or website changes. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
